Privacy and cookies.
The short version: we collect little, we only run analytics if you accept, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
Who we are
DIGIUP LLC, 9100 S Sepulveda Blvd. Suite #113, Los Angeles CA 90045, United States. We are the controller of the personal data described here (and a "business" under California law). Contact us at info@digiup.io for anything on this page.
What we collect, and why
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. The form is processed by Formspree. We use it to reply and to scope work you ask about. Basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you request before a contract.
- Booking a call. The booking links open Cal.com, which collects what you enter there under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept, PostHog records page views, clicks on our booking and email links, and technical details such as browser, device, referrer, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use it to see which pages help and which do not. Basis: your consent.
We run no advertising, no ad or social-media tracking pixels, and no session recording. Fonts and scripts are served from this site.
Cookies and local storage
When you open the site, nothing is set except a small note in your browser's local storage that remembers your choice (digiup-consent). That note is strictly necessary to honour your choice, so it does not need consent. It expires after a year, when we ask again.
If you accept analytics, PostHog sets cookies and local storage entries whose names start with ph_. They hold a random identifier so we can tell repeat visits from new ones, and they last up to a year. Events go through our own domain (/ingest) to PostHog's US cloud. If you reject, none of this loads. You can change your mind at any time with cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing stops capture and clears what PostHog stored.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics and do not show the banner. You can still accept from cookie settings if you want to.
Who receives data
Our service providers process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes: PostHog (analytics, only with consent), Formspree (contact form), Cal.com (bookings), and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International transfers
Our providers are based in or process data in the United States. For visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for as long as the conversation or engagement lasts, and for a reasonable period after for our records. Analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for the purpose above. Ask us if you want something deleted sooner.
Your rights
In the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR): you can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
In California (CCPA/CPRA): you can ask what personal information we collected and how we used it, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of, but we honor Global Privacy Control anyway. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
To use any of these rights, email info@digiup.io. We may need to confirm it is you, and we answer within 30 days. An authorized agent can write on your behalf.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we will update the date above, and ask for consent again if the change needs it.
